形態特徵

Plant with long, slender stolons. Culms loosely tufted, erect, 13-50 cm tall, trigonous, l-1.5 mm thick, smooth to slightly scabrid.
Leaves several, basal and subbasal; blades equal to or longer than culm, 2-7 mm wide, yellowish green or somewhat olivaceous.
Spikes 3-6, loosely spread except for 1 or 2 lowest; terminal spike staminate or gynecandrous with a few pistillate flowers, linear, 0.7-5 cm by ca. 2 mm, pale yellow or slightly brownish; lateral spikes pistillate or occasionally androgynous with a few staminate flowers at apex, cylindrical, 1-6 cm long, 3-4 mm wide, sessile to short peduncled. Bracts sheathless; blade of lower bracts surpassing inflorescence.
Pistillate glumes oblong to ovate, 2-2.5 mm long, apex acute to obtuse, pale; costa green, excurrent in a straightish awn, awn 1-1.7 mm long. Utricles elongate ovoid, trigonous, slightly inflated, 3-3.5 mm long, light green, often minutely brown-spotted apically, many veined, base obtuse, gradually narrowed toward apically, beak ca. 1-1.7 mm long; orifice hyaline, 2-toothed. Achenes ovate, triquetrous, 1.2-1.5 mm long; style slightly thickened at base; stigmas 3, persistent.

台灣 : open grasslands and forest margins, 500-2,900 m.
世界 : Indian, the Himalaya, southern China, Japan, the Ryukyu and southeastern Asia.
